Cookie Policy

Effective date: July 1, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Clinic Protocols LLC, doing business as Orders.Clinic, uses cookies and similar technologies when you access our websites, account portals, practitioner-verification tools, ordering functionality, communications, and related services.

1. Scope of this Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy applies to websites, portals, account systems, ordering tools, registration forms, and other online services operated by Clinic Protocols LLC that link to or reference this policy.

In this policy, “Orders.Clinic,” “Clinic Protocols,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Clinic Protocols LLC and, where applicable, service providers acting on its behalf.

“Platform” refers collectively to the Orders.Clinic website, practitioner and practice portals, patient and customer accounts, ordering functionality, account-management tools, integrations, and related services.

This Cookie Policy explains the technologies used through the Platform, the purposes for which they may be used, the choices available to you, and how you may contact us with questions.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files or data records that a website stores on or accesses from a browser or device.

Cookies may allow a website to recognize a browser or device, maintain a session, remember preferences, preserve items in a shopping cart, protect an account, measure website activity, or support other functionality.

A cookie may contain a randomly generated identifier, session identifier, preference value, timestamp, security token, or other technical information.

Cookies generally do not provide us with direct access to files, photographs, contacts, or other unrelated information stored on your device.

3. Similar technologies

In addition to cookies, the Platform and its service providers may use similar technologies, including:

  • Pixels and web beacons.
  • Tags and scripts.
  • Local storage and session storage.
  • Software development kits.
  • Server logs.
  • Device and browser identifiers.
  • Authentication tokens.
  • Embedded content and application programming interfaces.
  • Other technologies that recognize a browser, device, account, or session.

References to “cookies” in this policy include these similar technologies unless the context indicates otherwise.

5. First-party and third-party cookies

First-party cookies

First-party cookies are placed or accessed directly by Orders.Clinic through the domain you are visiting.

They may be used to operate the Platform, maintain account sessions, remember settings, support checkout, protect forms, and provide other functionality.

Third-party cookies

Third-party cookies are placed or accessed by a service provider or other third party whose technology is used through the Platform.

Third-party cookies may support payment processing, fraud prevention, security, analytics, customer support, embedded content, communications, advertising, or other services.

Third parties may process information under their own privacy policies and terms. Orders.Clinic does not control every cookie or similar technology placed by an independent third party.

7. Platform and commerce functionality

Orders.Clinic is built using website, content-management, account, and commerce technologies that may place cookies necessary to deliver core Platform functionality.

These technologies may use cookies to:

  • Determine whether a user is signed in.
  • Authenticate an account and maintain a session.
  • Remember an account role or administrative preference.
  • Protect forms and account requests.
  • Remember products added to a cart.
  • Determine whether a cart contains items.
  • Restore cart contents during navigation.
  • Support checkout and order processing.
  • Remember cookie and privacy selections.
  • Prevent duplicate submissions and unauthorized requests.

Disabling these cookies may prevent login, account access, registration, cart, checkout, payment, or other essential features from working.

8. Payment and transaction technologies

Payment processors, card networks, banks, fraud-prevention providers, and other financial-service providers may use cookies or similar technologies when you begin or complete a transaction.

These technologies may be used to:

  • Process and authenticate payments.
  • Remember a payment session.
  • Reduce duplicate transactions.
  • Detect suspected fraud or unauthorized activity.
  • Apply card-network or financial-institution security requirements.
  • Support payment disputes, refunds, and chargeback reviews.

Payment providers may collect information directly through fields, frames, pages, or technologies they control. Their information practices are governed by their own privacy notices and policies.

9. Cookies and healthcare-related information

Some activity through Orders.Clinic may relate to healthcare practitioners, practices, patients, products, services, or transactions.

The legal treatment of information generated through cookies or similar technologies may depend on the context in which the information is collected, the parties involved, and whether the information identifies or permits an inference about an individual’s health.

Cookie and analytics providers must not be used by practitioners, practices, employees, contractors, or other users to access, disclose, export, or process patient or health information except as authorized and legally permitted.

Users should not enter protected health information, patient details, medical information, or other sensitive information into an advertising, analytics, public contact, or other nonsecure feature unless the feature is expressly designated for that purpose.

Where Clinic Protocols LLC processes protected health information as a business associate, the applicable business associate agreement and healthcare privacy requirements may impose additional restrictions.

10. Information collected through cookies

Depending on the cookies and technologies in use, information collected may include:

  • IP address.
  • Cookie or browser identifier.
  • Device type and device identifier.
  • Browser type and version.
  • Operating system.
  • Approximate geographic location derived from an IP address.
  • Internet-service provider or network information.
  • Referring website, page, advertisement, or communication.
  • Pages viewed and links selected.
  • Date, time, duration, and frequency of visits.
  • Scrolling, navigation, and interaction information.
  • Cart, checkout, and transaction events.
  • Account-session and authentication information.
  • Security, error, diagnostic, and performance information.
  • Cookie-consent and privacy-preference selections.
  • Advertising, campaign, and referral identifiers.

The information collected depends on your activity, device, browser, account status, cookie choices, and the technologies active on the page you visit.

11. How we use cookie information

We may use information collected through cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Operate and maintain the Platform.
  • Authenticate accounts and maintain secure sessions.
  • Apply user roles, permissions, and access restrictions.
  • Process registrations, forms, carts, checkouts, and transactions.
  • Remember selections and preferences.
  • Protect accounts, systems, users, and transactions.
  • Prevent fraud, misuse, automated abuse, and unauthorized access.
  • Measure Platform traffic, performance, and engagement.
  • Identify and correct technical errors.
  • Improve design, navigation, functionality, and user experience.
  • Understand how visitors find and use Orders.Clinic.
  • Measure communications, campaigns, and permitted advertising.
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, contractual, security, and recordkeeping requirements.
  • Enforce our Terms of Use and other policies.

12. Third-party technology providers

We may permit service providers and other authorized third parties to place or access cookies through the Platform when reasonably necessary to provide their services.

Categories of third parties that may use these technologies include:

  • Website hosting and content-delivery providers.
  • Content-management and commerce providers.
  • Payment processors and financial-service providers.
  • Security, authentication, and fraud-prevention providers.
  • Analytics and performance providers.
  • Email, messaging, and communication providers.
  • Customer-support and scheduling providers.
  • Advertising and campaign-measurement providers.
  • Embedded-video, map, form, or media providers.
  • Consent-management and privacy-request providers.

A third party may receive technical and usage information when its service or content is loaded through the Platform.

The retention period and use of a third-party cookie are determined by the third party, subject to its agreement with us and applicable law.

13. Cross-site and cross-service activity

Certain third-party technologies may recognize a browser or device over time and across different websites, applications, or online services.

This activity may occur when analytics, advertising, social-media, security, embedded-content, or other third-party technologies are present on multiple services.

Depending on the provider and your settings, the third party may combine information collected through Orders.Clinic with information collected through other websites, applications, devices, accounts, or services.

You may be able to limit certain cross-site activity through our cookie-preference tool, your browser or device settings, provider-specific controls, or an applicable privacy request.

14. Your cookie choices

Cookie-preference tool

Where available, you may use the Orders.Clinic cookie-preference tool to accept, reject, or manage categories of nonessential cookies.

Your selection may be stored using a necessary cookie so that the Platform can remember your preference.

The preference tool may apply only to the browser and device on which the selection was made. You may need to update your preferences when using another browser or device or after deleting cookies.

Browser controls

Most browsers allow you to view, block, restrict, or delete cookies through browser settings.

The location and operation of these controls vary by browser and version. Review your browser’s privacy, security, or cookie settings for available options.

Device controls

Mobile devices and operating systems may provide controls for advertising identifiers, tracking permissions, location access, or similar technologies.

Provider-specific controls

Certain analytics, advertising, communication, and content providers may offer their own opt-out or privacy controls.

Account controls

Some communication, personalization, or account preferences may be available through your Orders.Clinic account.

Changing cookie settings does not automatically cancel an account, order, subscription, communication preference, or other service.

15. What happens if cookies are disabled?

If you block, reject, or delete cookies, some parts of Orders.Clinic may not function as intended.

Depending on the cookies disabled, you may be unable to:

  • Sign in or remain signed in.
  • Access a practitioner, practice, patient, or customer portal.
  • Submit a registration or verification form.
  • Add products to a cart or preserve cart contents.
  • Complete checkout or payment.
  • Use scheduling, chat, embedded media, or support features.
  • Save preferences.
  • Receive personalized functionality.

Rejecting analytics or advertising cookies should not prevent access to basic public content, but some measurement or personalization functionality may be unavailable.

16. Global Privacy Control and browser signals

Some browsers and browser extensions can transmit a Global Privacy Control or similar opt-out preference signal.

Where required by applicable law and supported by our systems, we will treat a recognized signal as a request to opt out of applicable sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising activity for the browser or device transmitting the signal.

A browser signal may not apply to activity that is exempt from an opt-out right, to strictly necessary technologies, or to information that cannot reasonably be linked to the browser or device transmitting the signal.

You may need to submit a separate privacy request to apply an opt-out choice to information associated with an account or to other browsers and devices.

17. Do Not Track signals

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting.

Because there is not a universally adopted standard governing how websites must respond to every Do Not Track signal, the Platform may not respond to all such signals.

We will process legally recognized opt-out preference signals as required by applicable law.

18. Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising

Clinic Protocols LLC does not sell protected health information for monetary consideration.

We do not use cookies to sell consumer health data except pursuant to an authorization or other process satisfying applicable law.

Some privacy laws define the terms “sale” and “sharing” broadly enough to include certain transfers of identifiers or online activity to advertising or analytics providers, even when no money is exchanged.

If Orders.Clinic uses cookies in a manner treated as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable law, eligible users may opt out through the cookie-preference tool, a recognized browser signal, or the privacy-request methods listed below.

19. Children’s privacy

Orders.Clinic is not directed to children under 13 years old, and children under 13 may not independently create an account.

We do not knowingly use advertising cookies to create advertising profiles of children under 13.

Healthcare information concerning a minor may be submitted by a parent, legal guardian, healthcare practitioner, or other authorized person in connection with an authorized service.

If you believe cookie or tracking information has been improperly collected from a child, contact us at

privacy@orders.clinic
.

20. Cookie retention

Cookie retention periods vary based on the purpose, type, provider, user settings, and applicable legal or operational requirements.

A session cookie may expire when a browser session ends. A persistent cookie may remain for days, months, or longer unless it expires, is replaced, or is deleted.

Information derived from a cookie may be retained separately from the cookie itself for security, analytics, transaction, legal, compliance, or business-record purposes.

Deleting a cookie from your browser does not necessarily delete information previously collected or maintained in another system.

21. Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy periodically to reflect changes to the Platform, cookies, technologies, service providers, legal requirements, or information practices.

We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date shown at the top.

When appropriate or legally required, we may provide additional notice through a banner, consent-management tool, account notice, email, or other communication.

Where consent is legally required for a new or materially different use of nonessential cookies, we will request consent before activating those cookies as required.

22. Relationship to our Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy provides additional information about the categories of personal information we collect, how we use and disclose information, information security, retention, privacy rights, and request procedures.

This Cookie Policy supplements and forms part of the Orders.Clinic Privacy Policy.

If another notice, consent, authorization, or agreement applies to a specific healthcare service or category of information, that document may impose additional requirements.
